Trash/Traces: Lives Adrift Across the Border

Ioanna Wagner Tsoni is a PhD Candidate in the ‘Migration, Urbanisation and Societal Change’ graduate program at Malmö University. Her research focuses on irregular migration, critical geopolitics of borders and (urban) borderlands and affect. Her dissertation ethnographically explores the bordering processes and practices instigated along irregular migration pathways throughout the southeastern European borderscape.
