Charmaine Chua is a Ph.D. candidate in International Relations and Political Theory at the University of Minnesota. She writes on critical political economy, postcolonial theory, logistics, and the international division of labor. Her current dissertation project is a political ethnography of the maritime supply chain, which examines the structural transformations of capital accumulation as it shifts from the sphere of production to the sphere of circulation.
